FERGUSON, MO (KTVI)- Public libraries in Ferguson are set to receive a gift worth $170,000. The gift includes electronics, computers and printers.

Venture Capitalist Marc Andreessen and his wife Laura teamed up with Hewlett- Packard to make the donation. The couple says they were moved by the individual acts of heroism after library staffers kept the doors open during the city’s unrest.

The Andreesen’s  are making a similar donation to the public library system in Baltimore.
