Where to see great views of Nashville's fireworks

It's official: Nashville's fireworks display this year will be the largest in the nation. So, now you're tasked with finding the best spot to watch it. Relax, we have it covered. Below are the best places in Nashville to watch the Fourth of July fireworks:

Riverfront Park

More than 100,000 spectators pack Riverfront Park, with some people arriving as early as 9 a.m. to secure a great view of the fireworks on the riverfront.

East bank of the Cumberland

Nashville's Fourth of July fireworks are fabulous viewed from across the river, on the East Bank of the Cumberland River near LP Field, with the city skyline as the backdrop.

East Park

To get away from the massive crowds but with a skyline view in the background, head to East Park at 700 Woodland Street in East Nashville. This park also plays host to the free Hot Chicken Festival, which is set for 11 a.m. July 4. The event starts with a parade of fire trucks and free hot chicken samples to the first 500 people. Shelby Park

A portion of Shelby Park gives an almost aerial view of the Nashville fireworks. The area with the best views can be reached via Sevier Street.

On the Cumberland River

People on boats get some up-close views of the fireworks. But, for safety reasons, no boats are allowed between the Shelby and Woodland bridges during the fireworks show.

A bit farther from town, try the Hillside Parking Garage, just behind the Curb Event Center (2002 Belmont Boulevard) on Belmont University's campus.
