A beach engagement is already set up to be beautiful—soft light, gentle waves… You know what we mean. But spring in the northeast means bundling up and braving the crisp air, which the team behind today’s shoot knew would be ideal for a Hamptons proposal—scarf, cider, cozy camp setup and all. From Lovely Day Styling & Events: The vendor team was a family affair—the model’s sister and cousin took part, providing sweet details and stunning florals for our scene. The wooden palette was freshly picked from a curb that morning and provided a rustic-chic table on the beach. The Pendleton blanket was authentically sourced and warmed our lovebirds throughout the day. Our seasonal color palette featured blush tones textured with patterns, plaids and pops of burgundy.

This engagement inspiration… While on the island for a long weekend, he takes her for a walk on the beach and surprises her by popping the question with a rose gold ring in a vintage box. The sun-kissed afternoon is filled with tender moments (a handwritten love note, her favorite cider drink), warmed with a pre-planned campfire, detailed with gorgeous florals and sweetened with thoughtful treats (campfire pies, a small cake and rosemary/lavender madeleines). It’s a day they’ll never forget and an afternoon filled with moments that were uniquely theirs.
