- UK's hotspots today were Charlwood in Surrey and Gravesend in Kent with 25C - but Highlands only saw 13C
Britons enjoyed the best weather of the summer holidays so far today as temperatures hit 25C - but things will soon go downhill again by Tuesday.
Forecasters expect the country to become even warmer tomorrow as low pressure creates highs of 28C in East Anglia, London and Kent.
Punters were seen making the most of the afternoon sunshine in Kent today while others enjoyed the music at the Sidmouth Folk Week in Devon.

But the hot conditions will be short-lived, with cool weather returning on Tuesday and temperatures reaching a maximum of 23C.
At 3pm today the UK's hotspots were Charlwood in Surrey and Gravesend in Kent with 25C – but Dalwhinnie in the Highlands saw only 13C.
It comes after Essex basked in the best of the weather yesterday, with a UK high of 23.7C in Writtle, Essex, and Shoeburyness having 12.3 hours.
Forecasters expect temperatures in general over the coming week will be cooler than average across the UK, with some wet weather.
It will be mainly dry but breezy tonight - although showers will sweep eastwards, affecting western areas of Scotland, England and Wales.
Showery rain will spread east across the UK tomorrow, although eastern areas should then be largely dry with sunny intervals and cloud.

Tuesday will be windy in the North West and a spell of rain will affect western areas on what will be a cooler day.
On Wednesday, after a dry and fine start, there will be sunny spells but also a scattering of showers in the South East and north Wales.
But the hot temperatures at the start of the month have prompted bookmakers to cut the odds on this August being the warmest on record.
Coral is now offering 2/1 after a flurry of bets, while gamblers can also get 11/8 on 2015 being the hottest year for Britain on record.
A spokesman said: ‘After a glorious start to the month, we’ve been knocked over with interest in August being the hottest on record in the UK.’
Last month began with the hottest day recorded in Britain in 12 years, as temperatures rocketed to 36.7C at London Heathrow Airport on July 1.
