One way to get ready for summer is to remove all those dead skin cells that have built up over the winter with an exfoliating homemade body scrub. Making a homemade body scrub yourself at home is easy to do. In fact you probably have most of the ingredients you need right in your kitchen.

I’ve seen so many inspiring homemade body scrub recipes lately that I had to round them up to share with you. If you like any of these ideas though, please click through and pin from the original source, not from Ideas for the Home by Kenarry®. 1. Hi Vanessa,
Great question! How long it keeps depends on the ingredients in the scrub. Most homemade sugar scrubs will typically last around 6 months if kept tightly sealed with a lid. Once the scrub has gone bad, you’ll be able to smell it! Your best bet is to use it regularly and use it up!

      Best wishes,
      Carrie
