We Have 17 Ideas For The 17 New 'Arrested Development' Episodes

You'll never know how much you'll never want to see our ridiculous ideas.

Okay, "Arrested Development" fans. I hope you're wearing some cutoff jeans right now, because you're about to blue yourselves over this news: Executive producer Brian Grazer has just revealed that the Bluths are coming back from the TV graveyard one more time.

"I love 'Arrested Development,' " Grazer said during an interview with Grantland's Bill Simmons. "But it was never a huge thing. But people are loyal to it, and we’re going to do another 17 episodes. So stay tuned for 'Arrested Development.' "

There you have it! Seventeen new episodes of "Arrested Development," which means 17 opportunities to introduce new characters and return to old fan-favorites -- though of note, MTV News reached out to Netflix and they answered a standard no comment, so take from that what you will.

What will the next crop of Bluth family shenanigans look like? Almost certainly nothing like my butchered attempt at a totally fake episode guide:

Into the Hollywoods

ad-1

Following Buster's arrest for "murdering" Lucille Austero, Ron Howard and Brian Grazer have decided to push ahead with plans to make a movie about the disgraced Bluth family, prompting a huge civil war within the Bluths over the rights. (Sound familiar?)

On the Hook

ad-2

Now in prison, Buster channels his inner George Senior and rises the ranks from fish to king over his fellow cellblock mates.

The Rebel Lion

ad-3

Michael and George-Michael remain at odds over their feelings for Rebel Alley, and the rift only widens after Rebel is eaten by a rebel lion, escaped from the zoo.

Maeby In Trouble

ad-4

After getting arrested by Rocky Richter, Maeby becomes the queen of her prison by creating an elaborate system trading totally-fake percentages of the Bluth family's movie rights for personal favors.

The Gob Squad

ad-5

Now serving as president of the Bluth company in Lucille Austero's absence, Gob performs his greatest trick illusion yet: Making the Bluth company disappear. As in, he gets it shut down. Oops!

Lose Seal

ad-6

Although she agreed to enter rehab, Lucille Bluth quickly realizes she's made a huge mistake, and immediately breaks free and goes on the run.

The Fantastically Poor

ad-7

Marvel takes every last penny from Tobias Fünke after suing him over the "Fantastic Four" musical, sending the good doctor back to the Method One Clinic to come up with a new idea for a show: "The Just Us League."

Chicken Dance Parmesan

ad-8

Lindsay organizes a dance-a-thon to raise money for Tobias' new musical effort, though she secretly plans to use the money to resurrect the Bluth company with herself at the helm. Turns out her would-be business partner is Gene Parmesan, sent undercover by an on-the-lam Lucille to secure the dance-a-thon money from Lindsay.

The Final Countdownward Spiral

ad-9

With the Bluth company gone, Gob is at the end of his rope — until he's contacted by the missing-in-action Lucille Austero, now equipped with an eyepatch, who recruits Gob for "The Austero Initiative."

Senior Citizen Kane

ad-10

Everyone is shocked when George Senior is cast in the Bluth biopic as Lucille.

To Buy Us

ad-12

Tobias wins a huge settlement after a high-level Marvel executive accidentally burns down the dance-a-thon benefit, giving him more money than any Bluth has ever known. His first act? Locking in Ron Howard and Brian Grazer as producers of the "Just Us League" musical, stealing their attention away from the Bluth biopic. His second act? Recruiting Tom Hanks and Geena Davis as co-producers, turning "Just Us League" into "A Just Us League of Their Own."

Fünke Town

ad-11

It's Tobias' world, and the rest of the Bluths are just living in it. Drunk with power, Tobias announces plans to reform the Bluth Company, solely for the purpose of serving as a shell company to further fund his astronomically expensive "Just Us League of Their Own" production.

The Last Banana Stand

ad-13

Michael and George-Michael seek to heal over the death of Rebel, the loss of their movie, the bastardization of the Bluth company, and their fractured relationship, by embarking on a vision quest to meet the man originally responsible for the chocolate-dipped banana: Banana Stan.

The Avenge Hers

ad-14

Lucille Austero uses Gob to recruit Lucille Bluth, and the three of them pull off a heist that results in Buster and Maeby's liberation from prison. Lucille Austero suffers a fatal vertigo attack during the high-flying mission.

Blueth Brothers

ad-15

Gob and Buster mourn the loss of their leader/lover, but are revitalized when Michael and George-Michael return from their vision quest with a way to topple Tobias: By using Lucille Austero's hidden fortune to buy the rights to the Blue Man Group.

Bluth v Fünke: Dawn of Just Us

ad-16

On the eve of the "Just Us League of Their Own" premiere, Tobias is shocked and angered when the Blueth Men Group opens up across the street, stealing away all his thunder. His fury quickly gives way to envy, as Tobias abandons his own musical to join the Bluth brothers on stage in their much, much better show. (The show is still awful.)

Bland on the Run

ad-17

Howard and Grazer sue Tobias for abandoning "A Just Us League of Their Own." DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. sues Tobias for infringing on their "Justice League" brand. Hanks and Davis sue on behalf of the Rockford Peaches. The actual Blue Man Group seeks vengeance upon the Blueth Men Group, now led by George Senior, furious that his sons ruined his starring role in the Bluth biopic. With their lives in danger and with several of them already fugitives, the Bluths collectively decide to flee from justice, setting the stage for an on-the-road (at-sea?) season six.

No word on when "Arrested Development" will return. Whenever it does, it will look nothing like the ridiculousness outlined above.
