An image that shows the latest addition to the world famous Red Arrows is a seagull has become an Internet hit.

The amazing moment was captured by first year photography student Jade Coxon,18, as she took pictures at the Llandudno Air Show on Saturday.

And, since posting the stunning snap online on Sunday, Jade is over the moon to have got more than 1m views.

The crisp pic clearly shows eight of the Red Arrows in tight formation trailing their famous vapour.

But then where the ninth plane should be there is an intrepid seagull holding the formation in place and, amazingly, with his own vapour trail.

Jade, of Llandudno, said she couldn't believe her luck at getting the perfectly timed shot.

But the Chester University student was remaining modest about her achievement.

"It was mainly luck but I was really happy with it. I saw the seagull fly in the way of the picture before I took it.

"It is completely covering the plane so you can't see it and the airtrail is behind the seagull.

"I was there to take pictures of the air show, I was taking pictures of the planes and the seagulls as well and then both things joined together," said Jade.

The Internet sensation said her picture has become "really popular" over a lot of websites.

"It's been really busy for me for the past three days.

"People have seen it from across the world, people have seen it in Australia and New Zealand.

"I've seen it on Reddit and Imgur. On Imgur it has had over a million views.

"It is hard to tell how many in total as it spread over so many websites.

"It has given me a real boost to keep putting content up," she said.

Jade added that her family are very proud of her, including her dad who is professional photographer.
