Please donate to help support our urban middle school's Drop Everything And Read Program. D.E.A.R. Time is a time set aside every week for students and their teachers to read for pleasure. Kids can read a book or magazine of their choice, and we need help to find the right book for every student. Your donation will help us match students with books for their specific interests, and keep our book selection current and interesting. 

Independent reading will improve our student's reading comprehension, vocabulary knowledge, and their writing skills. D.E.A.R. Time also aims to create a social culture around reading. Reading can also promote empathy for others, which we can always use more of in the world!

So, please consider donating to this worthwhile cause. Many of our students are of high socio-economic need and cannot afford the luxury of going to bookstores or ordering particular books for themselves. Give your name with your donation and we will have a new book dedicated in your honor. You can help inspire kids to fall in love with reading and develop a great hobby for the rest of their lives!
