You’re an artist or cultural producer with little to no gameplan for documenting your work. Or you’re a media maker looking to build your reel, portfolio, or relationships. If you fit either of those descriptions, you won’t want to miss this.
Art Makers will:
- gain tools for putting together polished work samples for marketing and grant applications
- be introduced to media makers who are looking to help fellow artists document their work
- learn about PhillyCAM and how their facilities and services may be of use to their process
Media Makers will:
- meet artists who are looking to document their work using photography, video, and/or audio recording
- be able to explore possible collaborations and creative relationships
- learn about funding opportunities available through the Leeway Foundation
All participants will walk away with new ideas to enhance how people see and experience their work.
Featuring guest artists: muralist/painter Michelle Angela Ortiz (LTA ‘13, ACG ‘12, ‘08, ’05) and contemporary dance choreographer Kariamu Welsh (LTA ‘14, ACG ’12).
