The upgrade pulls it from the cloud, explains the salesbot. “To access your records, doctors just scan the chip."
But not only healthcare facilities have scanners...
A few weeks later, Jenna is stopped on her walk home by an Authority guard.
"Sorry, ma'am. You can't walk across the bridge. Your Chip says history of depression."
Jenna cancels her doctor appointments and hires a hacker.
