Google updates Material Design guidelines

Along with the new Android 5.0 Lollipop SDK and preview images — again, folks, preview — Google today has updated its Material Design guidelines, the roadmap for making everything look snazzy in this new version of Android. App developers definitely will want to take a look at this one, as a good bit's changed since it was first introduced this summer.

New in this update — and Google's clearly calling this a "living document," so expect more changes at some point — are sticker sheets in formats for Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Sketch, an new icon library, new color swatches, new whiteframe downloads, new system icons and more.

If you're getting your apps updated with the new guidelines, check this out first, for sure.
