Summer may be coming to an end, but the fall is a busy time in Prince Edward County. Festivals & fairs, new wine releases and the opening of The Drake Devonshire make for an exciting September!

August 30

Corn Roast

Sugarbush Vineyards will be cooking up fresh sweet corn and Nyman's sausages all afternoon, plus live jazz enterainment and 100% County wines.

August 30 & 31

Lots of live music around The County this long weekend. Three Dog Winery has Tim Sheffield on Saturday afternoon and Roger Scannura on Sunday, and Huff Estates features Robert Keyes on Saturday and Matt Smith on Sunday.

September 13 & 14

Red, White & Blues

Blues festival featuring Steve Strongman playing at Closson Chase, Jack de Keyzer at Rosehall Run and Al Lerman at The County Cider Company.

September 13

Grapes of Wrath

5K extreme run at Hillier Creek Estates to raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society, Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital Foundation and the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation.

September 15

Opening of The Drake Devonshire

This highly-anticipated offshoot of Toronto's Drake Hotel - which has been under construction for 18 months - finally opens. Restaurant and inn featuring an extensive County wine list and lakefront dining.
