Check out these images of the new $60 million Grissom High School under construction

HUNTSVILLE, Alabama -- There's not much to the new Grissom High School being built off of South Memorial Parkway. Well, not yet.

The $60 million campus will be a state-of-the-art learning environment when it is completed, however. AL.com recently obtained architect's renderings that show the exterior of the new school, as well as plans for the first and second floors of the school.

The school is anticipated to open its doors in January 2017.
