Police investigate shooting, possible home invasion

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - One person was injured in a shooting incident today on the southeast side. Police say it appears that the shooting happened during a home invasion robbery.

Police say a man was shot in the carport of a home in the 4800 block of S. Lincoln Ridge, near East Irvington Road and South Camino Seco.

The man was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A woman who was inside the home at the time of the shooting was reported running through neighbors' yards. When police located her, she told police two or three men broke in to the house. She said at least one of them was armed, according to police.

No arrests have been made.
