Strictly's Kristina Rihanoff has spoken about her dream dance partner and staying in shape ahead of this year's Comic Relief Danceathon.

The professional dancer, who has had her fair share of drama on the show, can't wait to let her hair down and get involved in the charity event this weekend.

Asked why she is taking part, she told Mirror Celeb: "Other than the obvious and that I live to dance, I'm very passionate about using my skills and talent to achieve good.

"Charity is something I give up a lot of free time to and I can think of nothing better than to marry my career and my love of charity. It ticks ALL the boxes!"

Asked who her ideal dance partner would be after being partnered with the likes of Simon Webbe from Blue and rugby star Ben Cohen, who she denied having an affair with after the breakdown of his marriage.

Kristina, 37, said: "Channing Tatum of course, what girl wouldn't pick him? His career started in dancing, with the Step Up films and even in Magic Mike. He has rhythm and he looks like a strong guy who could lift me!"

The blonde beauty, who was raised in Russia, before moving to the US as a professional ballroom dancer, admitted she's not had time to practice much for the Comic Relief event after finishing the live Strictly tour with Simon.

But she feels performing every night must count for something ahead of the danceathon.

She added: "I also do a lot of training workshops throughout the year so even when it isn't Strictly season, I’m prepared for a challenge, and this will be a challenge!

"Normally when I dance, it's for a few minutes at a time with a number of breaks, but this will be dancing non stop! I am definitely ready for taking on the task though.

Kristina revealed she loves spinning and intricate disco moves and likes being fast on her feet performing Latin moves.

"Old school songs are always bound to get me onto the dance floor," she said. "Jennifer Lopez Let's Get Loud never fails to get me moving. And I think everybody loves a bit of Uptown Funk."
