Spain has been freezing for the last few years. The temperature has been going down and there was not any social sustainability left to help citizens keep warm. What started as an indoor shivering, it soon leapt off on the street. 2011 was the first step of the change: citizens started warming all together in the streets, reclaiming what belonged to them through demonstrations and the management of the commons in collectiveness. In order to keep the tremor growing, social organizations decided to take the next step toward chasing local institutions. Ganemos and Guanyem are the result of this unending collective shivering. Municipal Tremors is a campaign aiming to amplify and connect different municipal movements in order to get ‘institutions working for citizenship’ restored.'
Thanks to Elena Cabrera for the voice over of the city.
