'See Amsterdam’s canals twinkle with neon installations and sculptures as part of the city’s light festival. Brightening up the city in winter, artists from around the world have contributed more that 40 pieces that pay tribute to the life of the city.' The Telegraph
In November 2014 I was invited back to the Netherlands to make two films for the Amsterdam Light Festival. This is the first displaying the festivals Water Colour Boat Route. The second film displaying the Festivals Walking Route can be seen here: vimeo.com/114979870
I have to say a big thank you to the Spruits for kindly accommodating me, and a special special thank you to Christian Spruit for all his help. I also have to thank Matt Hughes for the track rodeo warriors. soundcloud.com/matt-hughes-1.
I was incredibly fortunate to be granted access to so much of the Amsterdam skyline. There are not a huge amount of tall buildings in Amsterdam, especially in the centre. So to be able to film from the few that are dotted around the city was amazing. In particular I need to thank:
The Double Tree
The City hall
Blue °
Regardz tower
The Rembrandt Tower board room

As always a big thank you also to my sponsors Digislider and triggertrap.
